I received a 1968 Lambretta Li125 from my uncle about 7 years back and while I had dreamed of restoring it, due to my current life situation, it's not been happening. When I got it, it had sat under a tarp for 20ish years supposedly and for the majority of my 7, its done the same thing. Its currently stripped down to the chassis but I can put it back together as well. Basically, I was wondering if there were any resources around through which to sell such a project. I don't expect much out of it but I'd love if it could go to someone who could/would want to restore it to its former glory. I'm fairly new to the world of Lambrettas so I don't know much about where to go with this (sorry if this is the wrong thread). It definitely needs a ton of work and so like I said, I don't expect much for it, but I'd love for it go somewhere other than the junkyard.

Thanks for any help!

well for a start do not scrap it whatever you do.

Decide what you want for it and put an ad on here in the "For Sale" section- pix will help shift it. Basically, don't get ripped off and don't ask over the odds.

If you want further unbiased advice, send me a PM

Stick it on ebay with plenty of pictures...the market will dictate the price you get for it (E £1000 - £1500)....at least you wont get robbed by somebody offering to do you a favour by taking it off your hands..

What he said - Ebay - no reserve - low start price.
Did you have to do that?

That's a pity. It'll likely end up another dull restoration, and be a barely used ornament.
