Oh, and if you're on your side wearing coveralls theres a good chance your plums will be between your thighs. do not put your plums between your thighs and apply a couple of tons.

I can top that 8-) This happened back in 1971 during my first scootering phase. My bitsa TV175 developed a strange misfire on the way home form work so I put it on the stand in the drive and started revving the engine. Now back then I often rode without cowlings/rear runners/panels, so as I glanced down I though I saw the flywheel move out. Not sure, I gave it another handful at which point it (the flywheel) jumped straight off the end of the crank and dropped onto the toe of my boot  It must have been spinning at about 5k RPM and after bouncing off my boot it shot off down the drive, across the road and bouncing like a Barnes Wallace bomb, skipped down the opposite drive and hit their garage door dead centre. It was embarrassing having to knock and ask it I could have my flywheel back  but I was a bit more concerned about the pain in my toe and the fact that the fins on the spinning flywheel had 'milled' a hole right through the leather of my boot :o  I'd only had then a few weeks as well

Simon,
You've dyno'd all of my scooters in the past and I've spent a good few hours in your workshop. Very sorry to hear about your accident and the illness. Get well soon mate I've got another TS1 that needs dynoing. Seriously all the best
Phil
