I Just bought a SIP tubeless rim and a tyre from Mark Broadhurst, they fitted the tyre too, not a mark on the wheel rim, great service!
Spanner check the running gear before every outing, like in the Army. You know it makes sense!

What I meant was there only seems to be limited stocks of them about, a few AF ones and the SIP ones seem more abundant as if there something new coming out soon and there getting rid of all the old stock

Beedspeed had some SIP polished alloy tubeless last week as I bought two, with SIP performer tyres fitted, under £80 a pop which I thought was a decent deal. I just had to get the f'kin studs out of my hubs. :|

Don't think there is anything sinister about it. SIP rims probably aren't manufactured in huge quantities.

I only stock SIP ones as they fit the hub snugger than AF ones and have a deeper well making the tyres easier to fit. SIP had to make the centre section thicker to make the well deeper [for easier tyre fitment] but the downside is that you then need to use the supplied long studs. SIP currently only have Black or Silver in stock, the polished ones and Black with Silver lip ones won't be available [from SIP] for about 3 months, according to their site they're not due back in until May.
