sip treadplates

Just bought a set of sip floor plates whats best way to fix down pop rivit or bolt down :?:

Personally I'd bolt them down on risers so you're not trapping sitting water. You won't need much, just enough for it to flow and evaporate.

agree would use spacers/risers and counter sunk bolts with nylon lock nuts. I would also put a dab of gasket paste on the spacers that contact the paint on the frame, the gasket paste will protect the paint from grit. you could use rubber or fibre washers, but gasket paste is just as good.

I bought some small black countersunk bolts and nuts from fleebay, for my mates black plates. Bit of silicon beneath, job done
