Nige "Sorry to resurrect an old thread but can I pick your brains Gaz_P? I read somewhere that you were using beedspeed pistons for your autisa kits. I think you also said you were using piston/ bore tollerances of 0.004". Had any joy using these the pistons mate?"

Never used the beedspeed P2 pistons - i think i mentioned them as an option when you get past factory o/s.

I did a genuine cylinder with a very mild tune and a thin ring 67.5mm (unknown origin) piston i bought of
ebay (cheap) - but never used it - it was passed on to someone who was in need.

My pistons of choice are genuine or asso - that said i have a Meteor in my current top end (all I could get get at the time)

Thanks for reply Gav. Ive used 3 of these thin ringed pistons now and on my autisa I wanted to cut the port windows to match the original piston but f*7%k me they`re more like steel than alloy. My dremel cut through a test piston like butter but cutting the windows on the beedspeed piston took me an hour or two..how or what that meens on the quality I will find out.
