I've got one of those Atomic scootrs reed blocks fitted and have issues with any type of filter clearance to panel. I tried one of the MB flat push on foam filters but that was no good. breathe sweet with rubber elbow is no good either... I've seen these now & they'd work, but my question is what type of foam are they made from, as I have loads of foam at home & if any old foam works I'd just use that.
cheers

Foam filters are a rip off. Go to a shop that does Moto X'ers and they'll sell you as much foam as you want for a darn sight less than buying a ready made item. Get a bit of glue and make your own.

Is that the larger Atomic reed valve or the smaller one which doesn't need fins cutting?a.j wrote:I've got one of those Atomic scootrs reed blocks fitted and have issues with any type of filter clearance to panel. what about the flat MB one was no good? its design means it should be squashed against the panel to allow air to be drawn solely through the foam... the only negatives ive read is that they dont breath very well, but i have one im about to fit so would be interested to know what poblems you are having.
