I've fitted the main central holding bracket and removed material from the case so the disc carrier clears it.
I've also shimmed the caliper to be central to the disc.
However I have then tried to fit an sip tubeless rim and it rubs against the caliper.
I used washers behind the rim to push away and it needs 5.5 mm to give clearance.
Question is , will 5.5 mm from the normal position on the hub cause me drive or handling problems?

Which width of rim do you have, 2.1" or 2.5"? Guessing it's the 2.5" given the amount you're talking about.
Wouldn't be ideal but whether you'd notice it I don't know. I'd always be aware that I'd done it so would never be particulary happy but that's me.
