Lambretta con rod replacement
Hi all,i have three GP cranks that are in need of a rod replacement, all the webs/threads/keyways are in good condition,so they are worth keeping. Can anybody recommend a supplier/dealer that can do the job, that will fit a good quality rod/bearing that will be strong enough for a tuned motor, and that wont cost me an arm and a leg?

Ive used chiselspeed and AF in the past - The actual cost to strip and rebuild it is usually not very much (an hours labour ish) its the cost of the rod kit you choose and if it requires the webs and/or rod machining.

Don't mess about = get Harry Barlow to do it.
I have emailed Pro-Porting and am awaiting a reply.
Think it would be better to call Harry.
Lambrettas are for life!
I think harry is allergic to computers apart from porting programs, ring at 9.30am before he gets busy! as he wont hear the phone, grinding or dynoingBoo wrote:Think it would be better to call Harry.
