Thanks guys, got a bit of an idea of things to do now. Starting with a clean of the carb and a check/torque of all nuts and bolts on engine as I have probably covered around a thousand miles since the rebuild. Many thanks

Thrash it and rebuild it WHEN it blows up. if it lasts a season strip and rebuild during the winter months!
No point spending any amount of cash on a tuned motor and then wrapping it in cotton wool.
As someone already said, use your ears every mile you ride! tuned motors do talk to you, all you have to do is listen, then decide if its telling the truth or not!

Good advice Eden but only if it gets ridden regularly and not sailed! Lol
