Hi
I recently purchased a Series 2 LI 125 engine which I noticed had a GP crank and flywheel on it! On fitting it to my series 3 I have found that I cannot get the flywheel cowl to fit on as it is making contact with the fins??!! Do I have to fit a GP flywheel that has been lightened/machined? Why is this as I know people who have fitted GP cranks and flywheels to Li/SX/TV engines before?
Cheers
Luke

How long are the fins on the flywheel?
GP has two different lengths, different cowls required.

That sounds like the longer ones, you can get a matching cowling from SR
