I think Ankor wax is thicker and more suited for hidden areas if i ve remembered rightly Timbo, unless anyone can correct me on this and the ACF50 is the thinner version......

They are two different animals. Ankor Wax is thicker. More like an oil and best used on bodywork where it can be buffed up to a sheen when it's dry. ACF50 is more like WD40 in consistency. You spray it on sparingly or wipe it over the area you need. Eventually it will not be apparent and leave no residue but it will prevent it rusting further.

I've been using ACF50 for about 15 years now (dad worked in the aircraft industry) and it does everything it claims. Excellent stuff. Parts that have been sitting in the shed for 10+ years and not a speck of rust on them. I just spray it into a bowl and brush it on with a paint brush. You can wipe it off after a minute or so and it is still in the pores of the metal doing it's job.
Does it have any effect on paint Inc primer. Acf50 that is.
I use acf50 on my original paint lis125.no ill effects I also use acf50grease on some parts it is keeping rust at bay nicely.I meant to write Corrosion Block grease
