I do, I have the SIP electronic speedo with CHT, the sensor is connected to the cylinder head shroud nut until I can fit it under the plug (it won't fit!), the cht temp never goes over 120 and that is only when i am in traffic or at lights, as soon as i start off it drops and stays low. it never builds up, it always drops in response to the throttle/speed....

Haha, yeah I imagine it will be MUCH higher! I am happy though that the temp is constant and low and not building up and up. I want to get the probe under the plug but i think i will have to get the dremel out and that will have to wait until i next have the engine out.

Choke tests are.....
To "roughly" see if your jetting is in the ball park you do tests at 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full throttle. at each throttle position put the choke on. At 1/4 it should make the engine four stroke and splutter.
At 1/2 and 3/4 and full at higher revs it will at least make it miss a beat when you turn the choke on or deepen the sound of the exhaust note indicating a rich condition. If turning the choke on speeds up the engine or makes it go faster or has no effect what so ever richen up.

Is a dremel the only option to getting the sensor to fit?

Not sure yet tbh. If I want the sensor to go under the plug then I suspect it is necessary to shave a tiny amount around the plug hole to give the sensor enough room. Or I could drill a hole in one of the fins and bolt it to a fin. If anyone has any better ideas please offer them as I'm really not sure how best to do it.

I have just been for a blast down the dual carriageway, cruising at 60/65 for a good few miles the egt never went above 438 and at one point I was doing about 70. The CHT was a constant 98 and when I stopped shot up to 130 but dropped as soon as I set off again.

I looked at it and concluded I'd need to remove a bit of fin and cut a bit out of the plug hole in the cowling to get it to fit.

It went on the cowling head bolt...
