Which clutch set up

Finally got my Rb project on the road and the clutch is a tad on ard side, standard series 3 set up with uprated main spring. 5 miles of lanes and me wrist is giving up, Any sugestions as to which way to go for a replacement set up without blowing the bank.

Somthing nice and easy would be good...

Cam-Lam 6 plate on mine with af gt springs and nylon cable , smooth as a smooth thing

mmm, two diff options. cmon lads little more info please, price ease of set up and what it is being run on?

need to jump in the right direction as this last splurge for a while...

Foxhat with six plates and an MB crown wheel, I would recommend this setup I have this on my TS 225 .... The Reedspeed setup is also very good....

i run a std newfren 4 plate with taffy springs on my suzuki 186 ,a chisel speed 6 plate on my tuned ts1 , a redaspeed 6 plate on my dactek 250 and my rapido 250.
will also run one on my dj190 when i get round to building it

It would break the bank but the GT 7 plate clutch set up is extremely light, fits without any packers and all the parts come from one place in one assembly. You can down load the 3D CAD model and build manual from www.granturismo.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

It has an ultra precise release point and is light for a 7 plate assembly (2.2kg) it feels a tad heavier than a standard 4 plate. True it is the most expensive on the market (£750) but that is because there are 13pcs fully machined parts in its construction every one is from the solid (even the steels) and they are produced in low numbers 5-10 batch. It's the best bit of CAD to production work I've done to date.

I'll second that. Had one for a few years with no problems and feels very very easy at the lever.
