Took the frame round to a club mates at the weekend
Test built the forks up and welded all brackets on (cheers rick), tacked the mudguard locating ring in position.

Added a couple of nuts as spacers to the mudguard brackets, to give clearance to gas type dampers

side stand, with reinforcing bar

Took the bike home and did a little more work
Engine, repaired exhaust bracket (with extra clearance)

cut out of rear runner

Dry fit n fettle all body work

Fit the rally style tool box

One more garage session then I'll send it off for painting

The panels fit well, just needed to take a little excess from the moulding from the underside of the rear runners, and a little off the horn cast where the mudguard goes to allow a bit more clearance.

Here's a little update (not been in the garage for a while)
I wanted to mount the speedo on the glove box and couldn't find a 'pod' online to house the sip speedo in, I went to the bike breakers and got free run of the store area to have a route around (fecking ace), I found a Yamaha rev counter exactly the right size...all I need to do is gut it and securely fit the sip one inside.

Taking it apart without knacking it was a hassle as internally it was a sealed unit...but with the help of a dremmel....

USB charger and ignition key also fitted to glovebox

The scoot was sent to a mate for the paint Lambretta: Dawn Grey, really nice glossy grey with a hint of blue...really nice job (cheers Jay)

The scoots now been dispatched to Colin at Garage Artwerks

For him to get messy with the dulex and 5" brushes that he uses!!!!!!!!! Nope...... its been entrusted in his more than capable hands, to work his magic with a little sign writing etc
Cheers
