Wiring.

Hi all, I'm at the stage in my GP rebuild where I can wire up my headlight unit. All the other wiring is fitted already. I've seen someone use a small 12v battery charger to do this job, thus eliminating the need to run the engine for power ( it's an AC system ). My question is, which wire on the loom do I connect the charger to, to liven the loom up? Thanks in advance Pete.

Remove the brown from the regulator and connect the red from the battery charger via a 5 amp fuse. The black to a good earth on the bike. Be carfull with dead shorts very easy to burn wires or your switches hence the 5 amp fuse.
