Rustoration is not a good description, conservation is better because you are conserving the scooter at its present condition. To do this you need. IMO, to remove heavy or you will not stop further decay. I have considered what to do regarding repairs such as welding do you paint over the welds or not?
Sunrise, have you got the contact details for the soda blasting firm near biggin hill an d what was the cost?

As Tractorman says, it's more consevation but the word used is more 'rustoration'. I'm going to try EvaporRust but may consider electrolosis for the bigger parts like panels. I'll try and get a photo on of the panel.
