@Dave: Sent you a PM.
Not much done as still waiting for getting the engine casing and other parts from blasting.
I cleaned up the original rear shock as the new ones available from CASA are not painted on the top and the ones from TUTTO (look great) are SX-Type rear shocks.
After cleaning I coated the shock wit Owatrol to conserve. Quite happy with the result (compare with pics before dismantling).

Also cleaned up the Toolbox

Looking good well done.
Parts are coming together nicely, looking forward to seeing more. Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between an original GP/DL rear shock and an SX shock?Villmark wrote: I cleaned up the original rear shock as the new ones available from CASA are not painted on the top and the ones from TUTTO (look great) are SX-Type rear shocks.

The shocks from SX are all painted an look like that

On the SX the washer between the springs is painted black, on DL zinc plated. I think there was also a different paint (satin and gloss black) but I am not sure.
You can see the difference in the Lambretta History book by V. Tessera. It is also possible that the shocks with the zinc plate have already been used on late SX ??

Does anyone know the correct colour of the grey parts (forks, hubs) for January 1971 production.
When did Innocenti change from Metallic Grey 8081 to non Metallic Grey ? Which paint code for non Metallic Grey ? Where the rims also non Metallic ?
Thank you for your help.
Still looking for an DL200 Speedo !!

Got a few pictures of original bodywork details before giving the parts away to Jockeys Boxenstop for steelwork and paint.

I tried the newly released special screws from Scootopia for the rear light on late DL`s and couldn`t fit them in the 8mm hole. Anyone got a clue how to fit them ?

Found an nice original seat after a long search. The seat comes from my DL150 - I didn`t found a better one

I would like to replace the seat badge but I am not sure how to get rivets out of the seat cover without damaging the cover ?? From inside the seat cover you cant spot the rivets only rubber
What do you think - should I remove the cover and have the seat base powder coated or just cleaned up and coat with Owatrol like the rear shock ?
