I've seen both sides of a similar situation and all I can suggest is that polite persistence will probably get you further than aggression. From their point of view, something made for them by a 3rd party has caused a massive problem and just the cost of getting returns and sending replacements would cripple many firms.

It isn't their fault the shocks failed but unlike the vast majority who would say 'that's the first I've ever heard' and offer you another one the same as a replacement they've decided to take it on the chin and do the right thing. It's a bummer for everyone but at least they have the paper trail to identify a problem batch and get a resolution.

I tend to agree, polite persistance. When you send an email, you expect a reply with in 24 hours, not happening with SIP and as in the past when SIP eventually pass on an email address, its not active for very long. So when something like this has happened, you would expect SIP to sort it out as quick as possible, especially in this modern day environment.
The last correspondence from SIP was to blame UPS, so I contacted UPS and there reply was, we have no record of the tracking number provided. This is where it is getting ridiculous. The bottom line SIP should be chasing UPS to make sure they have collected all the faulty shock absorbers, not I or UPS chasing the customers. I would also like to add its a SIP product and I understand these things happen, they have admitted they are at fault and admire them for that but for goodness sake why are they not replying to emails. I have had to organise for someone to be home or leave notes on the door where the shock is for two weeks now and its getting annoying. If it doesn't get sorted by Monday i will return it myself and my dealings with SIP will be kept to an absolute minimum.

I sent them an email then the next day I rang. It was dealt with immediately and I received an email regarding our phone conversation and also offering me 10% of if the replacement shocks I order cost more. I have also got UPS coming to my work to collect the shocks tomorrow so have to say I'm happy enough

Beedspeed got a delivery guy to pick up my old ones and left a nice pair of bitubos, only had to pay £40 extra for them.
Look nice & easy to fit

Mate of mine had his let go on roundabout on way to rally, it turned round dug into the Tarmac and sent him over the handlebars and onto his head and shoulder. This was a month ago and SIP sent new shock and 300 pound of vouchers immediately.
I think his may have been the straw that broke the camels back so to speak

Eventually UPS picked them up, but the tracking number didn't correspond with the one on my postal label, but I told him just to take the parcel as I have had enough. Still no email from SIP.

£300 pounds, How much damage was there to your mate and the scooter. I think thats fcking terrible, I would be taking it further. I really don't think SIP are fully aware how dangerous this fault is.

Shocks arrived a sip account credited. Rang them new shocks bought with 10% of which are on there way. Can not fault sip but I phoned them rather than relying on email
