Vespa PX Exhaust Dilema

I am looking to change my exhaust into something that "cartmel" has had a lot to do with after seeing it on his scooter, I know Ive got a few modifications on the battery side panel, this Im not to bothered by. Im looking for someone who has or knows which exhaust is the best between the JL & Scooter and Service. Ive posted the two links below.

I can't offer an opinion on the Scooter & Service version Gary, as I've not tried one - but can say that the items I've recently bought from them have all been very high quality & very well put together.... However @nearly £100.00 more than the SIP JL version, it's hard to justify their price premium over the already 'high' price of the SIP/JL pipe... (plus the JL pipe is made from stainless - whereas I don't think the S&S offering is?).

I've got the the SIP JL Curly pipe fitted to my Quattrini M1XL engine - and so far I can't fault it (at least for fitment, finish & sound).... the pipe fitted perfectly 'straight out of the box' & and I'd give it 10/10 for build quality & overall finish - and after finally getting the engine fired up for the 1st time last night, it sounds f@@king mint as-well!

The JL Curly is basically a re-worked version of the JL RZ Mk1 R/H pipe, so it 'should' perform as well as anything else out there - but I'll be able let you know more after it's been for MOT tomorrow & I've ridden it...

would love to see pictures of the finished scooter and even a video of the scooter running. good luck with the MOT.

my one massive problem is going to be the noise. I use my scooter for work every day and at 6am the neighbours do start to complain. it seems to get noisier at this time of year.

If your worried about the noise, then the Scooter & Service one is available in a 'Quiet' - or 'S' version....

In my opinion everything from S & S is overpriced.... Just check there Keihin prices thith the Amazon ones. Maybe I am not rich enough.

i was fumbling with my keys after a night out down the local ,after about half an hour i lost them completely whilst busting for a sit down visit to the toilet, so i sneaked next door and had a curly ,it was the quiet version but it was the s version as well ,much to my neighbours disapproval as she stood in it tending her roses on sunday morning before church

I guessed that with the price of the converted GS mudguard and fork conversion.

How much do you think for one of there scooters, I would reckon £10k. They must be ex-BMW mechanics.

b.central has come up with the goods. I won't be touching SIP for a while until they sort my shock out and at least offer something in the way of a discount on my next order. Ive had to return an exhaust & mudguard, also had one of there shocks fail on me a couple of years ago, for which I got a paltry 20euro gift voucher. There beginning to p155 me off now.

That and then some depending on how much engineering was involved. There's a fella that was into one to the tune of 21K Euro's and it still wasn't finished, pure Madness.
