Just been helping one of my mates put this kit on, its the tour kit, not the race one. He is gonna put on a dellorto 28mm phbh carb on and a jl3. Standard indian gp200 gearing, can anybody give us arough starting point with regards to jetting. Also running with anew crank, one that AF recommended with the kit.
Just set a mates scooter up with that very carb and barrel kit but with a 42mm Clubman... Now if only I could remember what jets we put in... Will ask him for you, if you get no feed back from your post... Im sure the jetting weve used wouldnt be a mile out even with the JL3 on it instead of the Clubman....DazzerLancs wrote:Just been helping one of my mates put this kit on, its the tour kit, not the race one. I would guess at:
40 slide
50 pilot
AV266 atomiser
X7 needle
between 120 and 130 main depending on wheteher a filter or air hose is used.
Even if your not going to use a filter it might be a good idea to buy a GP200 air hose. This can be useful in cleaning up the carburation at low revs. You can run it with or without a remote filter.
