Ps cheers for the compliment :) 8-)
It was running like a dream after being set up on the dyno, best money I've spent in a long time!

Blew mine up yesterday coming back from the IoW. Was cruising round the M25 at 65-70mph, then went up a long incline between J24 and 23 at around 50mph and at the top of the incline opened it up a little and it went bang, didn't seize just made a horrible noise and a clattering sound and no power. It's built with a MEC crank and after hearing the recent stories of these having issues wondering if it is that, will find out when I get it over to Byron's next week and strip it down. Gutted as it was running so well :(

Had a nightmare with Green Flag recovery as well. Took 2 hours for the 1st guy to come out (who was only going to take me the 1 mile to South Mimms services), he didn't know how to assemble to motorcycle ramp, once he figured it out tried to put the scooter onto the front wheel clamp despite me telling him it wouldn't work as the fork would get in the way, he tried it anyway and scraped the paint of my forks! He then almost dropped my scooter of the ramp but fortunately I managed to catch it in time, he then conceded that he couldn't recover it. We then sat there for another 3 hours waiting for another recovery vehicle whilst recovery man no.1 talked about his marital problems! Finally got home 9 hours after breaking down.

Well some good news, doesn't appear to be any damage. Spark plug had 'blown out' and wasn't looking too clever, timing was slightly retarded so has been reset, new plug and she now runs, frustrating as couldn't get her running at all on the side of the M25 but a massive relief.

Yes I am along with a BGM clubman. I bought the carb from Richard with the kit and it's pretty much as it came, only changes we made were float valve from 200 to 300 and dropped the needle down 1 clip, main jet is a 125

Took it for a short spin to make sure ok and seems fine, Hunstanton tomorrow for Mods n Rockers which is around a 100 mile round trip so that'll be a decent test.

Let us know how you get on with the 125 main in it......I am starting off with a 135 as the 125
is too lean..... Do a plug chop after 50miles and post a pic of the plug color 8-) Ta very much.
