front brake light

Hi
my s/law has a LMLstar 2004 it failed MOT they say front brake light switch doesnt work where is it? and how hard to replace, also they said headlamp loose how do you tighten it .Im ok with Lambrettas but this beast confuses me

If its a cable brake it is an inline switch in the headset, but 2004 is most likely a disc, and is screwed under the master cyinder.
Headlight loose, it has 3 fixings, the adjuster (7mm) underneath the front of the base, and 2 side fixings, which you will need to lift the top to reach.
4 posi/phillips screws from underneath, and lift gently whilst pushing the speedo cable up into the fork leg.
easier than it sounds.

Have noticed it appears to have a Halogen light fitted is that secured any different.
It had an advisory that when braking it pulls to the left any clues please.

No halogen is the bulb, not the headlamp.

Pulls left when braking??
I would say the rollers on the MOT station rolling road need looking at.
