Reed block
which is better the LTH block or the scoot Rs atomic mini. ?
win or lose have a booze
the MB dev block is a perfect match....[/quote]
perfect match for what ?
it`s also £147.00 as opposed to £85 for scoot rs one and anywhere between £86/£98/115 for the LTh.
so The MB one is off my list. so out of the other two, which is better ?

I've done ported set ups using both, and they are both pretty similar. They use the same reed block. As for just the manifold, I liked the scootrs one better. It's got a bit more meat on it if I remember correctly. The rubber out of scootrs stuff is generally of lesser quality and since that rubber boot has to hold your carb on, with a fair amount of vibration, I'd definitely carry a spare.
Both will do the job pretty well though.

I think LTH do more than one version with different Reeds. Atomic manifold looks like a copy of the early LTH CNC manifold, later ones being cast, presumably for cost. Atomic has the same reeds as the cheaper LTH one. LTH one comes with a 7mm socket head bolt [which I couldn't find anywhere] which makes fitting easier as I struggled getting a socket or spanner onto the nut/bolt on the Atomic one.
thanks solerunner1 and Corrado for your honest input.
