You could boil the race in oil,or put it on a thick metal plate and heat the plate up

I should have put it in the oven like I usually do but I was being lazy.

Ordered a drift now anyway, so I'll warm it gently to 150c or so if it doesn't go on too easily with the drift.

Just got to get the "blued" one off my brand new crank now. Time to crack out the bearing puller that comes out every 5 years or so.
