I've fitted the SIP Road 2.0 on a few PX engines now for customers, lovely results for touring engines and so on, i rate them highly. But last week I was asked about one for a T5 for the first time, and whilst i was searching SIP and others for info, i could only find the T5 version in 'SIP Road 1' and the PX version in 'SIP Road 2.0'

Is there a distinct performance difference between PX and T5, or is it appearance/labelling? Is there a SIp 2.0 for T5? What's the deal? :?

Anyone have fact based answer, rather than guessing?

I thought the "Road 2" was just the loops welded on for spring mounting, as the early ones didn't have them. as the T5 doesn't need to have a spring to barrel mount, cos its bolted, maybe they didn't re-designate the T5 pipe as such? clear as mud eh!

Road 2 is just second batch with spring hoops no difference in performance design
