if this is the case then if i have a gauge without a sender all i would need in theory is two ordinary wire leads going to the + and - on the gauge and a at the other end they meet with say an earth ring on the fins on the cyl head???
What i am asking is do the skydrive and gauges similar have the "gubbins" in the dial and not the sender lead (which i thought was a bimetallic strip before).
CHT senders = how they work??

You could also try this site, but there are many others as well as lots of forums that have nothing to do with scooters but cover this subject in great detail as well as many other current topics.... As after all its only a simple single cylinder two stroke engine with afew complicated after market bits bolted to it... Hope this link helps someone...
