Indeed.. an experienced operator would understand how much brake is required to simulate for instance two up riding, carrying heavy loads, or for light short riders like me! :D

Brake loading was used on mine to try to replicate the heat spike at 6-6.5k rpm, but to no avail, it only happened on the road, any ides why this is?

I'll try to get an A/F graph.

The duty cycle or loading when riding on the road would need to be replicated too the dyno test for a comparable conclusion to be reached. It may also be of benefit in having the piston examined by a metallurgist for their opinion on the material.

Then if the dyno has the proper brake then the fault could be in the set up and use of the brake? As I said before this only applies if the motor was 'right' in the first place.

When did you change the 35mm Mikuni for the 30mm? Did you get it running ok on the 30 before you went for the dyno or was that why you went for the dyno session?

I went to the dyno to have an Agusto fitted and to cure the heat spike at cruising speed which I'd not been able to cure with jetting myself.

Did it have the heat spike with the 35mm?
