I fitted one a 28BHP TS1 and had no problems at all, very easy clutch action and no slipping.

I changed my 47 tooth 'race' sprocket for a 46 tooth 'road' version and there was very little difference in quality that I could see. Maybe AF cleaned it up a bit before they sent it to me? Great clutch btw.

The race is machined from billet while the road version is cast I believe, like you say the design is the same I don't see how there can be a huge performance difference, is it just a case of tolerances and expense? I have the cheap one and it handles my Avanti just fine

Nice one fellas...I was thinking that the difference in price reflected the different amount of power you could put through.
Looks like it's down to quality,
