Spring washer on first so the twist grip is butted against the flat washer makes sense to me

Ok, so sticky is wrong then. The conical goes on with the bigger end towards the headlight right?

What page? I don't see any where it says what order these washers are fitted.

Interesting that the earlier edition states this but the later is less precise about it. I guess we wait for Sticky to chip in.
