New Atomic dampers and shocks any good?

Anything related to Lambrettas... ask tech questions, post helpful info, or just read and learn.

been looking at the BGM suspension but think its just too expensive, has anyone tried these new Atomic items?

they look really good quality and at a low price, but has anyone got real world experience of them?

Just factor inyou might have to pay import duty and handaling costs , im surethere was talk the the rear was nota good idea if the mounting eye was extended as it left very little thread inside the main shock body just a though .

I wouldn't bother, I know the pound dollar is good but by the time you have paid postage and import you will be about a score off the BGM,s

BGM worth every penny IMO but not cheap..

What about the new mb slimline dampers ? They look nice an price seems good too ..

Corrado on here sells the atomic rear shocks i bought one off him yesterday.

It would be good to see Scootering do a comparision test somehow. BGM and Atomic both made in the Far East and look very similar, maybe from the same factory, who knows?

Personally, the rear Yam R1 shock with nylon inserts seem as good as any, even the SIL rear shock isn't terrible, both a lot cheaper options.

I was looking at this shocker at Cleggy and I must say it did feel a good bit of kit. I fancied one for my S type, but thought it not retro enough, but seemed a possibility for the other GP. What they are like in service is another thing, but the £135 price tag seemed reasonable.
