Right then folks, new exhaust on order & i am looking for peoples opinions on getting it either coated or plated.
Has anyone had an exhaust ceramic chrome coated, or is good old fashioned chroming the way to go, or any other finish recommended by anyone :?:
Cheers

Had it done by Cam Coat in Warrington seem like a good set of lads, it cost me £120 plus the vat. Picked it up last Friday then called round to see me mate Geoff at Zoot scoot. As for durability only time will tell !

Hope this helps

There number is 01925 445003 all the best.

I have been been running a ceramic coated exhaust for about a year. Still looks new after a little rub or two with Mother's polish.

I have a BGM Clubman, and wanted to keep it looking good, and make it last. I sent it to Zircotec and had it ceramic coated in black. I looks the dogs, and after 1000 miles, it is as good as new. Downside, it cost almost as much as the Clubman! I still think it is value though, plus the way it loses heat is unreal! It is cool enough to handle within a couple of minutes of stopping, making working on it a doddle (and no blisters/scars!) Check out their website, www.zircotec.com plus this video shows what it does in very simple terms http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuj4mp6__IM

Expensive, yes, but from my experience, well worth it.
