Overhauling a Mk1 LD125 gearbox and have come to a halt. Have removed all the gears and shafts, clutch bell-housing and am now stuck on how to get out the clutch drive shaft. It appears that the clutch ball race bearing has to be removed first and I can't fathom out how. Same problem with the primary gear shaft bearing. Can any one reading this kindly advise?

Also, is the clutch drive shaft supposed to turn independently of the clutch drive crown wheel?

Can a full set of Mk III gears (both primary & lay) be used instead of the Mk I's without any modifications to the alloy casings?

Many thanks in advance.
