Yeah that's the advice, flat off with wet and dry then carry on

believe me I know.....flatten off first then spray, those little dust flecks will cause you more problems and paint waste, then you'll get frustrated and make more mess of it, be patient and take time, I done my side panels 4 times now cos of impatience and not thinking

Just realized I never posted finished job.
Hand polished it to finish off, really pleased with the finish I got considering 1st attempt. Not sure of colour scheme design now but hey it's ok. Only observation I'd make it the paint is really " brittle" and chips easy, maybe I should have put a clear coat over the cellulose? I don't know if I've done anything wrong...
