Poor running - Rapido 225

with regards to your clutch, i replaced mine last august on a 225 rapido, i opted for MB uprated springs and surflex plates, done 3000 miles on since and know slipping whats so ever

Think you might find the Piston ring gap is now too large to fully compress effectively.... they sometimes wear out in under 1000 miles.... So I would check the end gap on the rings and replace if worn... anything above 30 thou... IMO

Time for an engine strip & rebuild I think. Least it covers all bases. Cheers chaps.
