I used some bubble wrap :D Folded it so there were 3 or 4 layers...taped it together and put it in a cotton pillow case and strapped it to the seat....all the way to IOW and not a numb bum in site....forgot to put it on, on the way back....many regrets

Been using the air hawk for about 18 months now, cannot fault it and wouldn't / couldn't ride any distance on a sporty seat without it. Just done Kelso on my AF with a really hard cutback Ancillotti . I only pulled in for fuel and was straight out again for the whole 300 mile and the same on the way home. No pain in my arse, just my shoulders and wrists with the battering wind.cheers,Speedy.

I've got 2 of the air hawk 2 seat pads, one each for me & the missus, they fit end to end on my seat & are the business.
Best thing is that i can transfer them to whichever scoot i ride, so good investment all round :D

I used a sheepskin for touring - 3,000/5,000 miles over a month.
Lasted for years and worked as a seat on dusty French campsites.
Come in a range of colours and can be trimmed to fit.
Cost about £20 from a local butcher, but Ikea flogs then now.

Another big up for the Airhawk here. I bought one of the large pillion ones which is perfect for an Ancilotti type seat. 700 miles each way on this years Euro doiung up to 270 miles a day and no numbness at all. An added bonus is that it's an exact fit on the seat squab of my Marcos which also has a very uncomfortable seat ;)

The up side of the Airhawk is that if you are camping, you can use it as a pillow.
