Just got p200 cases and was going to build a standard engine but with a 60mm crank .
Is anyone running the same setup or have any info they want to share ?

I did this years ago naively when I knew no different - just bolted it all together and ran it for years no problems - was it any better than standard I have no idea it was the first standard p2 engine I had built - it went most places two up (long rally miles not ride outs) and always kept up with other p2 and t5s

I had no idea about port timings, squish etc back then - I needed a crank and bought a MEC from AF and bolted it together - it was only when stripped it years later when I knew a bit more that I realised it was 60mm

Things were simpler in the old days when you built things out of what you found in the back of yours or your mates garage......... or is that rose tinted spectacles ?????

In this day and age there are things that you would do to improve the whole set up if using a 60mm crank to get the best out of it.

Good luck

Did you see the article in scootering with the Harry Barlow bike. Maybe a good place to start.

All the best.
