Post pics & videos of your scooter, projects you're working on, a lovely Vespa that you saw at a rally, or anything else scooter related.

MoT'd yesterday after a complete strip and rebuild. I've had this GP since 1990 and it was time for some love.

All the panel work is what it left the factory with, except the horn cat. In fact all the major parts are original including locks, engine, disc, forks, etc. The seat is an original one(not THE original one) I have refurbished and fitted a new cover to. the original rear hub cracked about 10 years ago and since then I have used the series 3 hub on it now.

I had an attempt to live with the original barrel/Carb set up but that was never going to last. In stead it has an iron stage 4 from Scotty of DSC fame, a 25mm delay and MB clubman. There are a couple of other nods to modernity, but I wanted a very standard look.

as it was it in 1990/91 not long after I bought it from Rob Miller:

Here it is posing with a Vulcan in the Ferrari yellow it has been for the last 15 years or so:

You have made a lovely job of that, but has the scooter grown in size? It no longer seems to fit in the photo.

(Edit: This might have been my veiwer..... Sorry)

If I spent time on the weeds I'd never have finished the bike!
