I had a chat with Pete Archer at the weekend and he told me that there is a shortage of 60mm cranks at the moment. Hippy Jerry couldn't get hold of one for Pete.
I have no other evidence to support this, but is this where you were going with this thread?

yep, was just wondering if 100's of people all of a sudden decided to uprate from a 58x107 all at the same time for almost every manufacturer from almost every distributor to be "out of stock". just seems bizarre....
