I have run one of those on both a 186 Mugello and then a 225 SR with reed conversion and currently have a BGM 30mm version on my TS1. I personally think they are decent carbs and in theory at least, they are quite simple to set up. The main problem is getting the fuel level set right. This can't be over stressed as the float bowl is on the small side and can easily run dry especially if it's cocked to the left or right. Delortto's and Mikunis are more tolerant as they have a bigger float bowl. I opted for the BGM OKO for the TS1 as it came in a bundle from someone on here complete with an LTH short manifold and I wanted to use a filter under the panel. So far it's been great, runs very clean and the throttle response is instant. It's only got an Ancilotti fitted so doesn't rev on past about 7,000rpm and maybe doesn't challenge the float bowl capacity too much. It is a worry though and I could do with getting a clear float bowl to do some checking.

You'll hear a lot of people slag them off on the grounds of poor quality but that is usually based on experience of early versions which needed the float valve drilling out. Some say the jets are crap but I haven't personally noticed any difference between the ScootRs ones or other's of German or Japanese origin. The other problem is that in terms of setting them up, you are pretty much on your own. Delorttos have been in use longer and someone will know a ballpark set up for just about every configuration possible. Alas, that isn't the case with the PWK, you will have to make do with the info on the ScootRs site and limited suggestions from this site.

8-) Hope that helps
