It's cheaper this way ...

Post pics & videos of your scooter, projects you're working on, a lovely Vespa that you saw at a rally, or anything else scooter related.

Nearly finished now. Wiring an LI switch with a Casa ignition switch and bgm loom caused me lots of head scratching but everything now works (see my post today in Wanted section re Fores headlight bulb holder).

It revs nicely on the stand through the MB filter. I've been up and down the gears in our street and not noticed any difference to the way the engine performed with a Ram Air filter. However, that's not quite a proper road test :D

Having satisfied myself that the brakes would stop it, I took the LL S2 out for a cheeky blast today.

I say blast but the maiden voyage was very flat. I suspected it was the filter strangling it so I came back, took the panel off, and put the Ram Air back on. Yes, it was the MB filter strangling it, however, a couple of minutes with a Stanley knife to open it out to the diameter of the bellmouth, and all was good again.

It's now ready to go for first registration MOT :D

So, tent, sleeping bag a clothes in the tool box ;) How's it to ride apart from the filter issue?

There's always a way, mate :D Clutch (it always did drag a bit) and possibly gearing, need a bit of tinkering before Davos. Need it registering and a full laden down rally trip before we set off ;)

No need for a tent. Sleep in the toolbox.

That's not a tool box, more a small shed 8-)
