Don't mind at all.... the M1XL kit takes capacity up to 172cc from a standard PX125 donor (I think that's what your asking?)...
Cost wise.... I supplied all the new parts for the build (plus a complete PX125 donor motor) - parts were all sourced from SIP & total cost of new parts is as follows;
• Quattrini M1XL Cylinder Kit £454.96
• Mazzucchelli 57mm Full circle Crank £128.45
• Dellorto PHBH 30mm Carburetor £79.48
• Tassanari VForce 3 Reed Valve Kit £125.97
• Vespatronic Ignition Kit £289.22
• SKF Full Engine Bearing Set £72.10
• SIP Full Engine Oil Seal set £18.65
• Sip Premium Full Engine Gasket Set £18.98
• SIP Cosa 2 ‘Sport’ 22t Clutch £173.20
• MMW Bored Out 200cc Clutch Cover £65.46
• DRT 65t Primary Gear £115.19
• SIP ‘JL Curly’ S/S Expansion Exhaust £287.56
Cruciform/Blanking Plates/Studs ect £25.00
Total Parts tally for the build = £1,855.22
To be fair - if you used the Reeds supplied with the kit, left the gearing alone, modified the standard clutch (and you wouldn't need the bored out clutch cover - but I had this anyway) - you could make savings on the above to the tune of maybe £350 > £400.
Obviously on top of the parts tally, theres Scooterotica's Labour charges for all Sean's hard work.... which was VERY reasonable, considering the amount of work involved in one of these Quattrini builds.
The casings needed welding to accommodate porting work to the transfers - the angle of the inlet manifold supplied with the kit also needed to be re-worked/altered to get the carb to fit without fouling on the casings - plus all of the usual porting/flowing/tuning work - ect that's required on a tuned engine... Plus there's the cost of the supplied donor engine also...
...And yes - on the frame it's going into, the panels will fit (both sides) without any modification - but I've had to cut the battery tray/spare wheel carrier off the frame to accommodate exhaust.
No. Returned engine to customer for him to fit and return when ready......he dies have a number of Scooters though so that may take some time! Lol
Coming soon.... hopefully! Just waiting for me painter to stop making excuses & start putting paint on the frame & then I can get the motor in & down to Dan for dyno....
