Black lambretta rims - where can I find them?

Anything related to Lambrettas... ask tech questions, post helpful info, or just read and learn.

I would want something visually identical to:

Image

But NOT tubeless.

I.e. black with silver lining. As the Vespa Gts 300 has as well.

Any suggestions?

Why would you want something that looks just like a SIP tubeless rim that wasn't a SIP tubeless rim?

Just curious.... :?

I've got the Black split rims in stock but you'd have to apply the Silver bit yourself.

ive got a black sip rim with silver edge and want to remove the black coating so its silver all over, any ideas?

Couldn't you use a good paint remover such as nitromors?,Then wash the stuff off and polish the clean rim I am presuming that they are just painted and not powder coated.

Yes they must be because my black SIP rims mark really easily

On the plus side they're easy to touch up, especially where they mark up when tyres are fitted.

Sounds like hard work to me. Wouldn't it have been easier to buy silver rims in the first place?
