You can also get a smaller screw on alloy adapter which will allow you to fit the standard hose and with the plumbing adaptions other filters

The Marchald filters will fit too as they come with a series of adapters that enable the filter to fit between 42 and 60mm carb mouths. They fit directly to the carb without an air hose. The filter itself is 100mm wide by 65mm deep.
Can u buy theses adapters on there own .im looking for one to fit a Makuni 30mm

Mine has a 10 ltr tank so the breath sweet can't sit upright but it slots in quite nicely in the gap between the fan housing and the bottom of the tank. As for other filters, Storkfoot is trying one of the MB panel filters on his TS1 which struck me as a possibility, they don't use a hose, it just fits over the carb like a sock I think and the panel keeps it in place.Rick wrote:.....My scooter drinks so a bigger tank is on the list.

I want to put a hole in a panel very 80s... The Avanti spits back a lot and Ron likes to moan about the state of my panelscoaster wrote:Mine has a 10 ltr tank so the breath sweet can't sit upright but it slots in quite nicely in the gap between the fan housing and the bottom of the tank. It'll be on the GT186/ PHBH30, mate. Still at least a month from being registered and on the roadcoaster wrote: .... Yes it's a brand new solid mount and has the screw on mouth, just they forgot to supply one with my order. So will look at this option, cheers,Speedy.corrado wrote:I don't think the old solid mounts PHBH carbs have the thread at the carb mouth to utilise the threaded plastic bellmouth and you'll probably need to use the GP air hose. The breathsweet hose was available to fit a 44mm fitting as well as the 60mm one, mainlt to fit Mikuni TM24 but it might fit the solid mount Delly too. You'd need to measure the opening on the carb.
Breathsweet is also available in 50/52mm [forget which exactly] that fits PWK/Keihin copies and some Mikunis.
I've also bonded breathsweet filters onto 20mm GP hoses to fit PHBL carbs.

I didn't realise that you could still buy the solid mount carbs, the ones I've got must be a few years old has they don't have the threaded section.
The plastic screw on bell mouths are about £5 so worth contacting your supplier to get your missing one.
Andy / Yanker .... I couldn't reply to your pm as it says your pm box is switched off. I've got the breath sweets in stock to fit the PWK , etc carbs. They're £30 plus £4.50 P&P.

Eh up mi duck,Yes they missed it of the order, but didn't charge for it either. Seemed strange to find they are an optional extra now, as the carb looks a bit naff without one on. Do you sell them? If so I could get one off you when I place an order for a few bits and bobs, cheers.speedy wrote:Yes it's a brand new solid mount and has the screw on mouth, just they forgot to supply one with my order.
