Good afternoon,
I was on way to a ride this morning and the scoot felt rough as rats with a loss of power with the engine cutting out when I was stopping. I limped home and stripped the top end and discovered a blown gasket. I've ordered a replacement but thought I'd post as was wondering what people use to clean up their engines? Where the gasket has blown there's oil residue all around the cylinder and the head areas. I'm guessing there may have been a leak for some time!! Do people use any special de-greaser or soapy water etc.
Many thanks in advance
Craig
