right, i cant wait any longer for my for my current series 1's paint job to be finished before i start the next series 1. so i have made a start on the panel work and have knocked it back to shape and now its just about ready for paint , i will be having ago at the paint myself this time so i can only blame myself if its s**t or takes longer than the first series 1.

i fancy a hot rod theme i.e white with flames on the side panels and was also wanting to get the scooter to sit lower thinking two to three inches . has anyone done this and where do i need to start cutting  . cheers simon

I was admiring a series 1 low rider in Brighton last year, I'll try and find the pics for you. Oh, and the owner/builder...Harry Barlow.

Loads to consider when doing it I remember him saying. Plus very little kickstart travel. So so cool though.

yes this looks great, sits just right. was thinking about movinig the rear shock mount up a bit or cutting a bit of fthe rear damper spring or both and then shortening the front fork legs and notchtching the kickstart panel for kick start clearance ??
