Gearbox problems

Something not right in the gearbox..... Goes through 123 fine get to 4th and there's a constant rattle coming from the rear selector housing or it seem to be coming from that area. When engine is stopped if you put it in 4th pull the clutch in and roll it forwards or backwards you can feel a faint grabbing on the back wheel as it turns .... Anyone got any ideas before I have to pull it apart.. Cheers
The cush drive on the clutch basket is away to give up the Ghost.
Get a decent quality one to replace it with.

Thanks for the reply but I don't think it's that cos it's a brand new sip race clutch just fitted and done about 100 mile but I'll check it anyway thanks

Sounds like it needs to come apart
Firstly stop riding it! Second take off the gear selector box and check the cruciform shaft has not come unscrewed. If this is loose you could have bent the cruciform. Other than that could be the primary cush falling apart or its bearing gone.
