Just finishing this off for EuroLambretta...
Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, loudly proclaiming: "WOW, WHAT A RIDE"

I look forward to seeing this at Lincoln. Best looking Series 3 I've seen for a while. Please tell me those holes in the runners are not going to be used for any shiney stuff

Front shocks (they're only dampers really) are indeed late Spanish Linx/Lince dampers.
The scoot was bought couple of years ago as a restored scoot from Vietnam, and subsequently had an engine rebuild and then the frametube broke in half just below the headstock tube.
Scooter was taken apart, then aquired by me and rebuilt around an original Italian Li150 frame, with my own forks and engine, but using the Vietnamese panelwork.
The fitted stainless legshield beading and runner set was powder coated matt black, as were the yet unfitted footboard protections....
Engine is a Monza225, 58mm crank with 116 rod, TMX30 and a Kegra racing exhaust (JL2 I think) and at the moment one exploded clutch...

Yes, the shroud will pull off if you pour a bit of boiling water on them. They can then be re-fitted at a later date. My Abarth Lambretta also has Spanish fat dampers, but I have turned them upside down and cut-away the circle that supported the plastic shroud.
Until recently, these dampers were the best available. I picked up a pair at Wicksteed a year or so ago for £3, but I needed to manufacture new rubbers and inserts at the top and bottom to allow them to fit my forks. The original Spanish fitting is an unusual 9mm stud (?!).

Very nice Hope all goes well for your journey over. Very pleased because I've got a set of Spanish forks with dampers to go in the LI cut down I have. I knew they worked well but didn't know they could be made to look so good
