Ramair filter for cut out in panel

Look after a Ramair filter for poss cut out in panel to fit mikuni carb any ideas do there 28/30 fit or do I need next size up I'm after a longish one so it deff sticks through cut out thanks

pm tuning, do a good range with sockets to fit most carbs, go for a fatter rather than longer, i found the longer one got in the way a bit when i wanted to move my legs around

What carb have you got? Yes I know it's a Mikuni but which carb exactly, they have varying sizes where the rubber mounts on. Or measure the outside diameter of the carb where the filter has to fit on.
Marchald ones come with different adaptors to fit lots of different sized carbs and also comes in 2 widths.

I found you had to be a bit careful tightening the adaptor rings on the marchald filters, there's a tendency to pop out if you over tightened it, so I siliconed it as well

I think it's 50mm, there'll be an adaptor that fits in the Marchald kits.

I think the filter off the breath sweet might fit directly but as they're about 5 inch long they're going to stick out of the panel a fair way.
