so taffspeed stopped making exhausts because of cheap copies??????????????? ian stopped making these pipes a number of years ago. you cant blame it on people buying cheaper products from abroad. Ive tried to get a genuine taff, but people are charging so much for these, and just being greedy and holding genuine scooterists to ransom.storkfoot wrote:I'm sure Ian Frankland's faith in human nature must be diminished by scooterists continuing to use the good name of "Taffspeed" in the same breath as these poor fitting Vietnamese copies.
If British scooterists were prepared to pay a fair price for an excellent product, then these exhausts would still being made to this day. Sadly, too many of our fraternity persist in buying cheap shiny bling with little or no thought as to how it compliments their set up.
There. I feel better now
Correct look at wot they sell for 2nd hand £250 / £300 why u gonna pay that when u can buy a copy in chrome for £220 new
it's all greed
true that
Taffy costed £495 new and I think around £300 is fair 2nd hand. They are very good quality and as far as I know they have not been tested side by side with the copies, yet.
