Hello all,

How does the cup for the lower fork / steering bearing come out of the bottom of the frame?

Is it just a case of putting something down the fork tube and giving it a hearty whack or is there some more subtle technique?

Is there a reason you want to remove this part, as it was missing from one of my frames that I bought ages ago and trying to put it back in was a nightmare.

The old one was scored. Borrowed a tool from my local dealer. Took two whacks to get it out and two more to fit the new one.
